The Spiritual Gift of Stewardship
Stewardship: A Spiritual Gift Definition
The spiritual gift of Stewardship is the ability to manage financial, human, and time resources effectively. In some cases, this gift may also be matched with the gift of administration and/or the gift of giving.
Jesus describes the wise manager in Luke 12:42-44: ”The Lord answered, ‘Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant who the master finds doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth he will put him in charge of all his possessions’.” Similarly, the Parable of the Talents found in Matthew 25:14-30 conveys that the wise Steward will invest and multiply whatever God has given him.
