Skills Tracking
We believe God gives us everything we need to do His will, including our skills which He takes credit for developing within us (see Exodus 31:1-3)…
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.”
Skills, in essence, are like Old Testament spiritual gifts. They are given by the Holy Spirit. They also reflect our God-given personality, rooted in temperament theory. That’s why it’s important for us to discover all the skills God has developed within your church.
Organic Skills Tracking
Our Organic Skills Tracking Program enables skills lists to grow naturally. There are no predefined lists to start with, and by design, church staff cannot preload desired skills. Our research demonstrated that when a church permits their skills lists to grow naturally, leaders actually receive more skill responses. On the other hand, when staff preload skills, their list generally targets programming holes, this can suggest to your people that their skills, that do not match what the staff are looking for, have little value in the church — a message no church would want to send.
Comments as Micro-Resume’
The Skills Tracking program also lets users add comments about their skills, such as degrees, certifications, and years of experience. These comments are like “micro-resumes”. Your leadership can review both the skill titles and the associated comments for each candidate and search the database for needed skills.
Skills Search Engine
AssessME.org offers a powerful search engine feature that permits church staff to create a profile of any combination of temperament, leadership style, giftedness, skills, and spiritual maturity. View the search engine below opened to select from the many available skills…

Tracking Skills is not only important for ministry mobilization within your church it is also a means of cross-validation with the ePersonality© assessment to verify that the assessment results are consistent and accurate. When you are a toddler, your God-given personality causes you to like certain activities and dislike others. The activities you are drawn too, with practice, evolve into skills as you mature. This is why a skills report may serve as a verification tool demonstrating that the ePersonality© assessment results are consistent with the skills report and so it is accurate and trustworthy.

Skills Detailed Reports
The micro-resume’ information is easily viewable once a specific candidate is selected from the Search Engine.

Since 2002 when our assessments were in beta-form, we have since collected over 400,000 distinct skill categories. We are amazed at all the skills God has given His Church in order to accomplish His mission in this world! This huge acquisition of skill-types now enables us to rebuild our skills tracking program into a “Smart Tracker”. In January 2026 the new “Smart Tracker” will suddenly go live within your ministry accounts. We believe your people will find this new software program much easier to use. The result? Your church will receive more skill data…and skill data that is more accurate.
